Thanks for stopping by, we are the Kasper-Cooks and this is our crazy light show! Ryan & Trent met in 2011 and built our home in 2015 with the light show idea in mind as we both shared a joy in celebrating the holidays and wanted to start a tradition for our then newly developing neighborhood. In 2015, we were able to pull off our first Christmas Light Show and it was quickly a viral hit!
In 2016, we were contacted by ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight” and they offered us an opportunity to appear on their show, in which we were honored and agreed with our episode airing that year. That was such an amazing experience for us and led to Ryan venturing into a side business with Epic Light Shows, which still produces light shows across the country. 2016 was also the year that we finally took the leap and got married, so it was a very busy busy year!
We continued to run our Halloween and Christmas shows over the next couple years, but with the exposure from the television episode and our show going viral on social media outlets, we made the decision to dial it back a bit out of respect to our growing neighborhood. After reducing the number of shows we run, and a few other tweaks, we are so thankful that we are still able to provide this holiday tradition for our neighborhood to enjoy each year!
Fast forward to 2023, which will be our 9th annual show, and we welcomed our twins Luna & Leo into the family. This was a long 3 year journey for us, but they finally arrived in February thanks to our amazing surrogate! It has been a tad bit challenging for us this year, with trying to get the lights up and having our two little bundles of joy… but I think we will get it pulled off in time!
We can’t wait for the twins to see the light show for the first time this year, and to be able to continue the tradition for all our family, friends and most importantly, our neighbors! We wouldn’t continue the show if it wasn’t for our neighborhoods support, we appreciate each and every one of you, and thank you for allowing us to continue the joy of the holidays.

This year we are collecting donations to benefit Children’s Minnesota. Children’s has been there for our family throughout our sons heart surgeries, and we couldn’t think of a more deserving non-profit to give back to.

We are excited to share that our 9th annual holiday light show will be back in 2023, starting with our Halloween shows!
We are aiming to have the show up and running by Friday, October 27th. Show dates and times are posted on the calendar here, you can click on each dates event to see the details for that show.
It has been a bit challenging to get everything done in time with the arrival of our twins this year, but will keep this info up to date if we are able to get things up and running sooner.

Our 9th Annual Christmas Light Show will be kicking off the weekend of Thanksgiving. Over the years, traffic has gotten much more manageable and considerate of our neighbors… so this year we will be trying to run a few more shows so that more are able to enjoy the lights!
The show will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5-9pm. It is about 16 minutes long with intermission songs for traffic to flow in and out during. Tune your car radio to 97.5 FM, please do not block neighbors driveways, turn off headlights and no honking please!
We will keep the calendar updated here if anything changes and also post on our Facebook page if for any reason we have to stop this schedule.
